2019 Recap and Highlights

Hello and happy New Year, everyone! 2019 has been my favorite year thus far, as it brought us our sweet daughter. Aside from her very scary illness and hospital stay, things have been amazing with our little girl. I love seeing how much she has grown!

I wanted to share just a few things we did each month…

JANUARY:

We had maternity pictures taken, and enjoyed our last month before becoming a family of three.

FEBRUARY:

We welcomed our sweet daughter into the world.

MARCH:

I turned 30 and had a blast taking a cooking class with my husband!

APRIL:

Baby K saw her daddy race for the first time.

We celebrated Easter in my husband’s hometown.

MAY:

I did a 5k with my mom and celebrated my first Mother’s Day.

JUNE:

We took baby on her very first vacation! She loved the lake!

JUNE:

Baby K and I started our mommy and me gym class!

JULY AND AUGUST:

We spent lots of time outside!

SEPTEMBER:

We went apple and pumpkin picking!

OCTOBER:

We went to “Boo at the Zoo,” took baby K on her first beach vacation to North Carolina, celebrated 4 years of marriage, and baby was dedicated at church.

NOVEMBER:

We hosted Thanksgiving and enjoyed being with our families!

DECEMBER:

We enjoyed Christmas festivities, and baby K was hospitalized for 5 days with RSV, pneumonia, coronavirus, and parainfluenza. She was a champ, and is home now!

What a year it has been! I am looking forward to another year with my wonderful family!

With love,

Carly

To My Husband On Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary

I’m warning you all now, this post is going to be pretty mushy.

Sweetheart,

Two years ago, in front of our friends and families, we got married on a beautiful fall day.

I will never forget the look on your face or the tears in your eyes.

The day was perfect. Full of laughter, happy tears, a whole lot of dancing, and a room full of love.

My life continues to get better with you by my side. Thank you for constantly treating me like I deserve the world. I love being your travel partner, your dinner date, your T.V. watching partner, and your best friend. You are the epitome of the perfect man. You are my fairytale come true and I thank God daily for you.

So, here is to us and a lifetime of memories to come. I love you today and forever.

Love,

Wifey
