A Weekend Full Of Tasty Food, Fitness, And Baby Shower #2

Hello, all! How was your weekend? Mine was busy, but wonderful. Let’s jump right it, shall we?

FRIDAY NIGHT:

My husband picked up Jersey Mike’s on his way home for dinner because we didn’t want to cook.

We ate and watched Ozark! We have been binging that show on Netflix…love it!

SATURDAY:

The day started with my usual online teaching. Afterwards, I hit up the gym for some cardio. Baby has moved off of my back (for now) so I am feeling much better! Yay!!

After the gym, I met a girlfriend for brunch at Northstar cafe. We had so much fun catching up!

After brunch, the day was spent cleaning the house and Christmas shopping!

My mom came over that evening and we did some more shopping, then picked up Whole Foods for dinner.

We watched football until super late!

SUNDAY:

I woke up, had Starbucks with my mom and husband, then got ready for baby shower number 2! My mom and I drove the 2 hours to my husband’s home town to celebrate. It was a blast!

I was wiped out when I got home so I made a quick dinner, then watched Ozark with the hubs until bed.

Weekend Wrap Up (Food, Fitness, Christmas Decorating, And a 2nd Thanksgiving)

Hello, friends! Well, now that Thanksgiving is over the countdown to Christmas has begun. I was able to get some of my shopping done (yay for online sales)!!

I feel bigger than ever due to excess amounts of food over break, along with this pregnancy.

Since I was on break, my days are slightly running together, but I’ll do my best to recap…

FRIDAY:

I woke up, had some coffee, and relaxed until I decided to venture to the gym. I did the elliptical, which was pretty much all I could handle for the day with my back pain!

I got some online shopping done and spent time doing housework, while my husband worked in the yard.

Dinner was leftovers of course!

SATURDAY:

The day started with online teaching and some coffee.

My back was hurting too bad to go out, so I did yoga at home.

I got quite a bit done on my to-do list. I organized baby presents, talked to the pediatrician, got in touch with our photographer about maternity pictures, and a few more boring, but necessary things.

The evening was filled with Christmas music and decorating with my husband! We had fun and the cats were hilarious playing with everything.

After we decorated, my husband picked up Chinese for us.

We ate while watching tv. What a nice evening!

SUNDAY:

The day started with coffee and a spin class. It felt good to do cardio, but I took it super easy!

I came home and got ready before heading to my husband’s hometown for his family Thanksgiving! He has a big family and they rent out a big space. We filled up on food, then everyone headed to the gym for basketball. I just watched because I was in pain.

Afterwards, we headed to my husband’s parents to play with the dogs and chat more before heading home.

Dinner was leftover Chinese.

That’s about it for the weekend!

Food, Fitness, Family Time, And Baby Bumps

Hey there, everyone! Sunday night came too soon and it’s almost time for another work week. Here’s hoping it goes quickly! My husband and I are heading to Chicago on Friday to spend the weekend and celebrate his 30th birthday! I am so excited!

Anyway….

Our weekend was so fun! Here’s the recap:

FRIDAY:

We decided to make homemade pizzas for dinner, which was fun but messy!

We ate while catching up on some shows we missed over the week. Bedtime came fairly early since I had to wake up for teaching.

SATURDAY:

The day started with coffee and a morning full of teaching.

After teaching, it was time to clean. I did a deep clean since my nephew was coming over.

After cleaning, I headed to the gym for a quick cardio workout! My belly was busting out of my gym clothes haha! Gotta love the baby bumps!

After my workout and a shower my mom and nephew got to our house. My nephew hung out with my husband while I had lunch with my mom. After she left, me and the boys went to the movies to see the new Halloween. It was fun! I love the recliner chairs at the theater.

After the movie, we picked up Bibibop to take home for dinner.

We watched Netflix while we ate.

SUNDAY:

I woke up and picked us all up Starbucks. We had coffee and chatted for a while. The boys spent most of the day playing video games while I did yoga and ran errands. My brother and my other nephew and niece came over to hang out for a few hours. My niece and I did some shopping.

Once they left I picked up, folded laundry, then had a quick dinner.

Chicken tortilla soup, toast, and pita chips.

I also made chocolate chip pumpkin muffins because I’ve been craving them!

Now, I am snuggled up with my husband and cats relaxing.

Our Weekend (Family, Babies, Football, Food, And Fitness)

Hello, everyone! I hope Monday hasn’t treated you too bad. Mine was good, even though I was still a bit tired from our family filled weekend.

Let’s recap!

SATURDAY:

The day started with coffee and some online teaching.

After teaching, I finished up my cleaning and booked my husband’s 30th birthday trip to Chicago! Yay!!

I had a little time to hit the gym for some cardio before my family came over.

My mom, brother and his wife were all going to the Ohio State game, so my husband and I babysat our sweet niece.

She had fun chasing our cats, but they did not enjoy the chaos.

We took her to the park and it was so much fun. By the time we got her to bed we were exhausted. I made an apple cake to snack on and my husband made chili for dinner.

Once everyone got back from the game, we ate and talked/watched football until 11ish. I slept so hard that night!

SUNDAY:

I was the first one up, and my mom was up shortly after. We grabbed Starbucks for everyone.

My brother treated us to brunch at Scramblers which was delicious!

After brunch and some cleaning, my in-laws stopped by and I went to Sam’s Club with my mother-in-law.

When they left, I ran to target while my husband worked on some house projects. Next up is the nursery!

We made an apple bake which was super tasty!

For dinner, I had a salad with chicken!

Bed time came early!

It was a lovely weekend! I hope yours was, too!!

A Fall And Family Filled Weekend

Hello, all!! I hope you had as good of a weekend as we did. I love fall SO much and we had our first real taste this weekend.

Between decorating, apple cider, my favorite annual date, and family time, I’d say it was a great weekend.

Let’s recap!

SATURDAY:

I woke up at 6, had some coffee and did a 30 minute pure barre workout before teaching four online classes.

After teaching, I met my best friend (who came to town for a birthday celebration) at Starbucks. I had my first pumpkin spice latte this year and it was as tasty as I remembered. I get mine with soy milk! So much yum. It was a chilly morning which I love.

Afterwards, I had a hair appointment at the cutest salon. I enjoyed a much needed wash, cut, and style.

I picked up Jersey Mikes on the way home for me and my husband.

After lunch, we headed to Lynd Fruit Farm for our annual apple picking and farmer’s market date. We got tons of delicious apples and other goodies, too!

When we got home, we put on pj’s, made some chili and watched football!

It was a perfect day and evening.

SUNDAY:

I slept in a bit which felt amazing! I made a pot of coffee and relaxed a little while before doing my fall decorating and cleaning the house.

After that, I went for a jog outside because the weather was awesome!

After my run, a quick shower, and lunch, we headed to Alum Creek Beach (about half hour from our place) to spend the day with my husband’s family and celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday! The weather got pretty darn warm and we enjoyed the beach and water so much.

When everyone got hungry for dinner we headed to Cracker Barrel. It was delicious!

We all said our goodbyes and headed home.

Now we are relaxing with a candle and some fresh apple cider. Yay! I don’t want the weekend to end.
