Weekend Wrap Up- Date Night Times 2

Hey there, everyone!! How was your weekend?! Ours was so fun (minus the terrible headaches I’ve been getting).

We decided to have 2 date nights this weekend! Friday night was my husband’s choice and Saturday night was my choice.

FRIDAY NIGHT DATE-BRAD’S CHOICE

When my husband got home from work, we got ready and headed out. We had bibibop for dinner, then saw Avengers Infinity War in the fancy theater with reclining chairs.

Dinner was tasty and the movie was awesome!

After our movie, we came home and I read until I fell asleep.

SATURDAY NIGHT-MY CHOICE

Our date started with seeing A Quiet Place in the fancy theater with reclining chairs. We loved the movie!!

After our movie, we headed to our downtown area to try out a place we had never been to before. It’s called Dirty Frank’s hot dogs and oh my gosh they were SO good!!

The pricing was cheap and the atmosphere was fun.

I had a veggie dog topped with coney sauce, sauerkraut, and grilled onions with a side of broccoli. We also split the fried cauliflower. YUM!!!

After dinner, we came home and watched some Netflix before bed.

SUNDAY:

I went to church, did some grocery shopping and made a stop at Lowe’s. My husband and I grilled out for dinner and it was delicious!

Salmon, asparagus, and corn!

Now it is time to relax before another work week begins!

A Weekend Full Of Food, Fun, Sun, And A Little Fitness

Hello, everyone! I think spring may have finally shown up for good here in Ohio! Yay!!! We definitely have been enjoying the weather. Our cats are loving it, too. They have spent so much time by the open windows.

We have had a fun, productive, and relaxing weekend! Here’s the recap:

FRIDAY NIGHT:

My husband was stuck at work later than usual, so I used some leftovers to make a salad and toast while watching Netflix.

When my husband came home, we watched Master Chef Jr. before bed.

SATURDAY:

I woke up early, made some coffee and decided to be productive. I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, mopped, and did laundry. To help pass the time I listened to a podcast I’ve been enjoying lately called My Favorite Murder.

After I cleaned, I went to the gym for a gluteus maxout class. It felt good!

I came home, ate lunch, and started working on “missions” for my online teaching job.

When I was done with all of that, my husband and I had a super fun date night! We went to Condatos Tacos for dinner and margaritas. Everything was awesome!!

We both built our own tacos and all I have to say is YUM!

After dinner, we came home, got into our sweats, and rented Father Figures. It was a fun movie and we both enjoyed it a lot!

SUNDAY:

I woke up this morning, got ready, and met my girlfriend for Starbucks, church, and brunch! We had fun spending time together. We had brunch at a place called Scramblers and I had their traditional benny with a side of fruit. It was delicious!

When I got home, I did two more “missions” for my online teaching job. It took a long time, but it was worth it!! I relaxed a bit before doing a yoga video at home. My legs and hips were so tight and it felt great to loosen up.

Next, I did a grocery run, then my mother-in-law came over to drop a few things off and have dinner with us. We had stir fry and it was really tasty!!

Now, I am going to pick up a little bit before spending the rest of the evening relaxing with my husband!!

Weekends Are For Relaxing, Organizing, And Date Nights

Hello, all! Well, another weekend is winding down and it’s back to work tomorrow. Our weekend has been so nice! It was a perfect balance of relaxing, fun, and productive. Let’s recap, shall we?

FRIDAY NIGHT:

For dinner, I had this healthy pizza from Whole Foods plus a salad! So good!!

After dinner, the hubs and I watched Master Chef Jr. before heading to bed.

SATURDAY:

I woke up fairly early and made some coffee and protein pancakes.

After breakfast, I went for a short jog outside. The weather was lovely! After my run, I met my best friend (who was in town for a few hours) at Starbucks. We sat and talked a while and did some shopping before she left.

When I got home, my husband and I started working on our to-do organizing list! One thing on the list was to hang the beautiful wine rack my brother-in-law made for us. He is so talented!

Once we decided to be done for the day we got ready for a date night!

We had dinner at Texas Road House, then headed to the movies to see 🐓 Blockers. Dinner was delicious and the movie was hilarious!!!!

By the time we got home it was late so we went straight to bed.

SUNDAY:

I woke up and had some coffee before getting to work on certifications for my new online teaching job. When my husband woke up, we got back to organizing and so much was accomplished! It makes me so happy!

I took a break and had a bath. It was so relaxing! Afterwards, I did a quick yoga video.

For dinner, I made a taco salad. It was so tasty!

We are finally done with house work and it is time to relax.

Weekend Wrap-Up (Good Eats, Fitness, And a Last Minute Date Night)

Hi there, everyone! I’m sad that another weekend is coming to an end, but happy that I am a little closer to spring break. Yay teacher perks!!

How was your weekend?! Ours was very nice. Here’s my recap!

FRIDAY NIGHT:

After work, I came home and watched some T.V. until my hubs got off of work. For dinner, I made turkey meatloaf and coconut oil fried plantain! It was delicious!!

I cleaned up, then we watched Master Chef Jr. until bed.

SATURDAY:

My husband and I hung out a while until I decided to fold the laundry and start some house cleaning. I took a break to head to the gym for a video cycle class. The concept is really cool! There is a big screen next to the instructor that plays music videos and motivating clips.

Afterwards, I had a quick lunch at home before getting back to deep cleaning the house! I love a clean home!!

While I was cleaning, my husband was working on house projects and paint touch ups. We were productive!

I also made healthified banana bread. SO. GOOD.

By the time we were done, I took a shower and got in my sweats. My husband decided (last minute) to take me to dinner and a movie. I threw some makeup on and off we went.

We had dinner at Piada! I had a huge salad bowl. It was really tasty!

After dinner, we saw Black Panther and it did not disappoint!

We got home late and went straight to bed.

SUNDAY:

I felt a little off when I woke up due to daylight savings time. I had coffee and breakfast and relaxed until my husband woke up.

I ran some errands (dollar tree and grocery store). When I got home, I put the groceries away and started looking at some schooling options.

Early evening, I took a yoga class at my gym! I’m so glad I went because it felt amazing!

When I got home, my husband grilled us burgers (mine was a spinach burger) to go along with air fried sweet potato fries! YUM!!

After we ate, I cleaned up the mess we made. Now we are relaxing on the couch!

Weekend Wrap-Up: An Evening With Friends, An At Home Workout, And A Date Night

Hi, there everyone! How has your weekend been?! Ours has been a lot of fun. We did a lot, but still found time to relax.

Here’s the recap:

FRIDAY NIGHT:

When my husband got home from work, we met our friends for dinner at a place called Buffalo Wings And Rings. It was super tasty and we had so much fun catching up.

For dinner, we split onion rings and pretzel bites as an appetizer. I had a cup of soup, a veggie burger, and steamed broccoli. It was so fresh and I ate it all. I didn’t take pictures because we were too busy talking.

After dinner, we went to our friend’s new house to help with light fixtures and organizing.

We left around 11, then crashed as soon as we got home.

SATURDAY:

I woke up early and did a workout in my basement. I follow fitnessblender on Youtube and did their Spartan 500 workout. It is short, but SUPER intense. I am always sore after I do it.

After a shower, I met my best friend (who was in town for a few hours) for Starbucks and shopping. We had fun spending time together.

When I got home, I ate lunch, cleaned a bit and took a bath.

That evening, my husband took me out for a date night and we had a blast! We went for dinner and drinks at the Cheesecake Factory.

We wandered Barnes and Noble while waiting for our table. I bought a puzzle and I can’t wait to do it.

Once we were seated at dinner, we ordered drinks (I had a long island iced tea, hubs had beer) and an appetizer. We got the crispy crab bites and they were AMAZING . We also had a bread basket!

For my main course, I had their fresh vegetable salad with grilled chicken. It was huge and I had leftovers! My husband had chicken marsala.

After dinner, we came home and rented the movie Happy Death Day. We enjoyed it! It was a great date night.

SUNDAY:

After coffee and breakfast, my husband and I went to our friend’s new house to finish helping put up light fixtures and a few other things.

When we got home, I had my Cheesecake Factory leftovers before folding a ton of laundry.

I talked to my cousin for a while after lunch and made plans to visit her in Nashville over my spring break. I am pumped!!!

My husband and I did a grocery run before turning on the Superbowl and making a delicious dinner!

We made beer battered cod in the air fryer, steamed shrimp, and sweet potato fries. I even made a healthy tartar sauce for the fish.

After dinner, I cleaned up the mess we made in the kitchen. Now we are on the couch relaxing and watching the game.

We had such a great weekend! I wish it were longer.
