A Weekend Full Of Tasty Food, Fitness, And Baby Shower #2

Hello, all! How was your weekend? Mine was busy, but wonderful. Let’s jump right it, shall we?

My husband picked up Jersey Mike’s on his way home for dinner because we didn’t want to cook.

We ate and watched Ozark! We have been binging that show on Netflix…love it!

The day started with my usual online teaching. Afterwards, I hit up the gym for some cardio. Baby has moved off of my back (for now) so I am feeling much better! Yay!!

After the gym, I met a girlfriend for brunch at Northstar cafe. We had so much fun catching up!

After brunch, the day was spent cleaning the house and Christmas shopping!

My mom came over that evening and we did some more shopping, then picked up Whole Foods for dinner.

We watched football until super late!

I woke up, had Starbucks with my mom and husband, then got ready for baby shower number 2! My mom and I drove the 2 hours to my husband’s home town to celebrate. It was a blast!

My belly feels huge now!

My husband’s aunt made this baby! So cute!!

Bow making station!

The grandmas!

My college roommate (who is also my husband’s cousin).

My cat decided this toy was his hahaha!

I was wiped out when I got home so I made a quick dinner, then watched Ozark with the hubs until bed.

It was a great weekend! Let’s hope the week goes by fast.

Have a great one!

A Baby Filled Weekend (A 1st Birthday Party And My Baby Shower)

Hi, all! Sunday is winding down, and I am laying here with my husband. Our weekend was so nice and full of love! It was busy, so I didn’t get my typical weekend cleaning done, but I have some time over Thanksgiving week to do that.

Let’s recap the weekend!

The day started early with online teaching. After teaching, I did a quick pure barre video before getting ready for the day.

My husband and I headed out late morning to go to Cincinnati to celebrate my niece’s first birthday!

When we got there, they had a taco bar for lunch.

It was yummy!

The birthday girl opened presents and gobbled down her cake. We also watched football and just enjoyed the day with my family!

By the time we got home, we didn’t want to cook so we picked up Jersey Mikes subs for dinner.

We ate and watched TV until bed.

My mom came over early and we went to church together. It was so nice. After church, we picked up smoothies before heading back to my place.

I had a hair appointment (which ended up being a slight fiasco). Insted of checking me in when I got there, they canceled my appointment. By the time it was all figured out, we started super late, and I didn’t have time to get my hair washed. She curled it quickly! Luckily, they didn’t charge me.

I hurried home, changed, then headed to my baby shower.

My adorable, delicious cake.

Our yummy spread of food!!

Our sweet girl was so spoiled today!! She will be here before we know it!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Family, Food, And A Duck Themed Baby Shower

Hello, everyone! The last of my family has just left, and I am finally sitting down after a busy, but great weekend.

I rushed home from work to clean before my in-laws came over for the weekend. I made a quick, easy dinner of Annie’s Mac and Cheese  (instant and organic) with squash and peas. I also had toast with I can’t believe it’s not butter and jelly.

Pretty darn tasty.

Once our family got to our place, we headed out to a small venue to watch my husband’s cousin play with his band. The show was a charity event for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. It was so much fun!

It was a late night, but totally worth it.

We all woke up fairly early considering we went to bed so late. My brother in law made us a tasy breakfast of banana pancakes.

Made with eggs, bananas, and cinnamon. We topped them with maple almond butter and honey!

After breakfast, I ran some errands, went on a 3 mile run, had lunch, then took a short nap before doing some cleaning and yard work.

For dinner we ordered carry out from a place called the B Spot. It is an awesome burger place close to us. I had the impossible burger  (a vegan burger made to taste just like a regular burger) with pepperjack cheese and roasted peppers.

We went to bed super early because we were all tired from the night before.

My mom came over early so we could finish last minute things for the baby shower for my sister in law. We did a duck theme and it turned out perfect!

Our mom-osa bar!

Gormet popcorn.

Donuts from our favorite place called Duck Donuts. Yum!!!

Our adorable table decorations!

The gift table.

Onesie decorations. We had puffy paint and stencils. The mom to be picked her favorite and that decorator won a prize!

The party started with decorating onesies, followed by food and mimosas. After lunch, we played a game, then judged the onesies. We ended the party with the presents! It was a great day!

All of the boys watched football at my house, so after the party we all hung out a while.

Some of my family! I love spending time with them.

Once everyone left I did a little cleaning. Now it is time to relax a bit before another work week!

Have a great week!

Weekend Wrap-Up (A Winery Visit, A Date Night, And A Baby Shower)

Hi there, everyone! I hope you all have had a great weekend. Mine has been fun and busy.

After work, my friend and I met at a local winery by us called Coopershawk. They have the best wines and delicious food!! We each got a flight of wine and split two meals from the happy hour menu.

I love sweet wines, so my flight had rhubarb, sweet red, raspberry, and white sangria! YUM!

For dinner, we split chicken pot stickers and ahi tuna tacos. All of the meals come with pretzel bread, which is addicting!

We had a great time talking and winding down from our crazy work week.

I started the morning with a big breakfast, cat cuddles, and coffee, followed by a treadmill hiit workout at the gym!

My chunker! Isn’t he adorable?!

After that, I went with my husband to pick up my car, which he has been busting his butt to fix! He’s amazing!

We finally were able to have a date night since my car was finished, so we went to the dinner theater for dinner and a movie!

I woke up super early to clean and grocery shop since I knew I was going to be gone all day.

I drove about 2 hours to celebrate my sister-in-law and soon to be niece! We had so much fun and she has another shower in two weeks! Yay!

I can’t wait to meet baby Avery!

I am finally home and my husband and I are going to grill out and relax.

That’s the update for now! Have a great evening, all!!

With love,
