Our Weekend-(A 1st Birthday, A 5k, And Mother’s Day)

Hey there everyone! Let me start by saying happy Mother’s Day to all of you mammas out there. I hope you have been celebrated like you deserve! I am so blessed to have the most wonderful mom and mother-in-law.

A huge hug to all of you who struggle on this day.

This weekend has been busy, but so nice! It was a weekend full of love that’s for sure.

I woke up early and had a quick coffee before teaching 3 online classes back to back. I love the kids, but was glad when I was finished!

After teaching and a quick bite to eat, I went to the gym for a gluteus maxout class! I grabbed a smoothie from the gym cafe before heading home.

When I got home, I spent some time cleaning until it was time to get ready to head to my best friend’s house for her daughter’s first birthday. The drive is about an hour and a half, but it was so fun spending time with them!

The party was a lemonade theme and it was adorable! We grilled out, talked, and celebrated a sweet little girl!

We got home around 8 and rented a movie, but I slept through the whole thing. Oops! Haha!

We woke up early to do a Mother’s Day 5k with our moms! My mom picked up Starbucks for us on the way. She’s the best! The weather was perfect and the race was so much fun!

Me, my husband, my sister-in-law, my mom, and my mother-in-law.

We got roses and cupcakes afterwards!

After the race, we all went back to the campground that my in-laws were staying at. We relaxed, cooked over a fire, and took the pups to play in the water. We had so much fun!

My in-laws took off around 5 and we headed home. I folded some laundry and got some things ready for teaching this week! Now, I am watching Eat, Pray, Love until Fear The Walking Dead comes on.

I hope you all had a great weekend!

With love,
