Our Weekend (Food, Fitness, Friends, And Family)

Hello, everyone! Another Monday closer to meeting our sweet baby girl. I am so excited! I do have a little cold, so I’m hoping to knock that out quickly.

We had a nice weekend, so here is my recap.

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Once my husband got off of work, he was sweet enough to fix my mom’s breaks. He always fixes our cars! We sat at his shop and I was able to help out a bit. I’ve learned a lot about cars since being with him.

When he finished, we picked up Panera and took it home.

After dinner, my husband played video games and my mom and I watched Shark Tank. We love that show!

SATURDAY:

I woke up and taught my online classes before cleaning the house. I like to do a deep clean once a week!

I did a 20 minute pregnancy cardio workout followed by 10 minutes on the elliptical. It felt good to get a workout in.

Afterwards, I took a shower and nap before my in-laws came over.

My MIL and I went to Sam’s Club and the guys did some work in the nursery!

For dinner, we had stuffed salmon, twice baked potatoes, and salad. YUM!

After dinner, we watched some TV before bed!

SUNDAY:

We started the day with coffee and some relaxing. Once my in-laws left, I showered and got ready for the day.

I met up with some girlfriends for shopping and a late lunch at BJs.

Look at the Easter outfit I got for our little ♡♡♡

For lunch/dinner, we split avacado egg rolls and I had a delicious salad!

Once we finished and said goodbye I went to the grocery store before heading home.

I had some snacks and watched the Superbowl with my husband before bed.

Weekend Wrap-Up (Food, Fitness And Friends)

Hi, all! Another weekend flew by, which means another weekend closer to meeting our girl! I will be 37 weeks on Thursday and I’m feeling every bit of it.

This weekend was a nice mixture of relaxing and getting things done around the house. Here is my recap…

FRIDAY NIGHT:

My husband picked up Chipotle for us on his way home from work. We ate and wached Netflix, which was so relaxing.

SATURDAY:

The day started with coffee and online teaching! I did a barre workout before starting on my to-do list. I got a lot done!

Later, my husband went out to grab us carry out from Roosters while I stayed home and took a long shower.

We ate and watched Breaking Bad until we went to bed.

SUNDAY:

My husband and I picked up Starbucks first thing and brought it home to enjoy in front of the fireplace.

I did yoga, went to the grocery store, and folded laundry.

My husband set up some things for baby girl! We are so ready for her!!!

We went out to dinner at a place called Local Cantina with some friends. I enjoyed the chicken fajitas!

We had fun catching up spending time with friends!

When we got home we watched a little TV before bed.

Now time to prepare for the freezing cold weather expected this week!

A Weekend Full Of Food, Fitness, Baby Prep, Family, And Spa Fun

Hello, all! How was your weekend?! Mine was so nice! I go back to work tomorrow after a 2 week break. My pregnancy is really starting to hit me since I am nearing the end of it, so I know it is going to be tough going back.

Anyway…let’s recap the weekend shall we?

FRIDAY EVENING:

I met my best friend for Starbucks and an appetizer at a delicious restaurant called Mezzo. I had a super tasty kale salad.

We had pedicures scheduled at the Woodhouse Day Spa next door, and headed there after we ate. The spa was so lovely! We got robes, then sat in the “quiet room” with snacks and tea.

They called us for our pedicures and it was absolutely amazing!!! Afterwards, we went back into the “quiet room” and chatted a while. We left around 6 and both headed home.

I made a fried plantain for a snack because I was hungry again.

I went into my bedroom early, diffused some oils, and watched Love Actually until it was time for bed.

SATURDAY:

I woke up, had some coffee, then taught online.

After teaching, I did a prenatal cardio video, plus the exercise bike while I listed to a podcast.

My mom came over around noon and we went to Whole Foods for lunch. After lunch, we did some shopping for baby items, as well as items I need to take to the hospital.

We also started washing and sorting the TONS of baby clothes I have for little Kennedy!

That evening, my mom, husband, and I went out to dinner for my mom’s birthday (coming up this week). The place was called 101 Beer Kitchen and it was wonderful!

I had the veggie burger and beet chips.

The atmosphere was adorable and we spent a long time chatting and having fun! Happy early birthday, mom!

After dinner, we watched Netflix until bed.

SUNDAY:

I woke up and got Starbucks with my mom before getting ready for church. We went to church with one of my closest friends and it was fun to see her!

After church, my husband made brunch. It was so tasty!

After brunch, my mom and I finished organizing and shopping for more baby items. It exhausted me a bit, but I am so thankful for my mom’s help!! I am finally relaxing about everything!

My mom left around 4:30 and I decided to relax on the couch a while. I will finish the rest of my list a little later!

The hubs and I will make something quick for dinner and hopefully just relax and watch Netflix tonight.

2018 Highlights And Pictures

Happy New Year, friends! I spent the evening eating ice cream, and watching a movie with my husband and kitties. We did not make it to midnight haha! 2018 was a great year for us, and we are excited to welcome our baby girl in 2019!!

Let’s recap this past year, shall we?

JANUARY:

We took a trip to Hocking Hills, stayed in a beautiful cabin, played games, and went hiking.

FEBRUARY:

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with a lovely ravioli dinner made by my hubby!

MARCH:

We celebrated my 29th birthday at Valley Vineyards with steak, salmon, wine, and family.

APRIL:

We visited my cousin in Nashville for Spring Break and had a blast!

MAY:

I had my procedure at the fertility clinic that would bring us the best news ever!

JUNE:

I had a positive pregnancy test and immediately called my husband because I couldn’t wait until he got home!

We saw Luke Bryan in concert with some friends!

We spent a week at the lake with my husband’s family where I experienced morning sickness for the first time.

JULY:

We spent a week enjoying the beach in North Carolina with my family!

AUGUST:

I went to Lake Michigan with my oldest brother and his family! It was fun spending time with my niece and nephews.

We had our gender reveal party!

SEPTEMBER:

We got to play bride and groom for a day! Our wedding photographer asked if we would do a photo shoot to help out a new venue! It was so fun.

OCTOBER:

We had our annual apple and pumpkin picking date.

NOVEMBER:

We celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday and took a trip to Chicago!

I had my baby shower!

I hit the third trimester on Thanksgiving Day.

DECEMBER:

I had baby shower #2.

We did some major baby prep, and celebrated Christmas with our families.

What a year it has been!

Fit/Foodie Friday, Plus A 31 Week Bumpdate

Hey there, friends! I am SO glad it’s Friday!! Plus, it is the last day of work until we get to enjoy a 2 week break. I think teachers love break more than the students haha.

Yesterday marked 31 weeks in my pregnancy, and I feel like this third trimester is flying by.

*My girl’s kicks have gotten stronger and mamma sure feels them constantly!

*I am still craving cheese of all kinds.

*I am in a constant tired state, but that is to be expected with 20 extra pounds and a growing human inside of me.

*My back is okay most days, which I will take!

*We are pretty much prepared for our little lady, just a few things to do that I am hoping to finish during break.

*I keep dreaming about her. I just can’t wait to hold her!!

Okay….now onto the weekly recap:

MONDAY:

After work, I did a quick prenatal barre workout before getting ready for an annual Christmas dinner with some girlfriends and our moms.

We met at Cheesecake Factory, exhanged gifts, and talked for a long time. It was so much fun!

My huge salad! I also had a ton of bread lol!

I crashed soon after coming home.

TUESDAY:

After work, I made it to the gym for 30 minutes on the lateral machine.

Dinner was broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken, vegetables, and a salad!

My husband and I rented Venom and watched it before bed.

WEDNESDAY:

I did a “bump at the barre” workout after work and it felt pretty good.

Dinner was a taco salad with coconut oil fried plantains!

THURSDAY:

After work I went to the gym for 30 minutes on the arc trainer.

Dinner was turkey meatloaf, brussel sprouts, and a sweet potato. It was so tasty!

We rented a movie, but I slept through most of it haha!

FRIDAY:

I am hoping to get a quick workout in after work before we head to my husband’s work Christmas party!
