Hello! Happy Monday, all. I hope you had a great weekend. We sure did!
SATURDAY:
The day started with coffee, a strength and jog workout, then doing some shopping with my sister-in-law. K spent time with daddy while I was busy!
The afternoon was full of stroller walks and playtime with my girl.
Once she went to bed, we finished house work and cleaned before a quick (late) dinner and some Mindhunter.
SUNDAY:
My sister-in-law and I separated and planted herbs! K had fun playing in the leaves while we worked.
My mom came into town and we took K to the sunflower field! The season is about over so the blooms were dying, but we still had so much fun!
That evening, I went to dinner with a girlfriend of mine! We had fun catching up, and I had a yummy Whole30 approved dinner. Northstar Cafe is the best!
Speaking of Whole30, I have officially finished my first week! Here are my thoughts so far:
The first couple of days were the hardest, as I had some headaches and cravings, but I pushed through and things are getting SO much better.
I am WAY less bloated than typical, and have found myself enjoying prepping and cooking. I miss my easy snacks, but have been enjoying fresh fruit, nuts, and vegetables.
Dates and almond butter have been a lifesaver when I need some quick, healthy energy!
So far I am loving it, and am excited to see how I feel as I continue!
