Hello and happy Friday! Today I thought I’d share a quick recipe. This is a favorite around here! It is easy to make, but does require some chopping.CHICKEN SAUSAGE SKILLET:INGREDIENTS:*4 chicken sausages-fully cooked (Mine was a cracked pepper flavor)*1 large sweet potato*Frozen vegetables*1/2 an onion*Olive or coconut oil*Garlic to taste*Any herbs you like*Salt, pepper, and seasonings to tasteI finally picked some herbs from my little herb garden to add in this recipe.
TO MAKE:1) Chop the sweet potato, and cook on medium in a little olive or coconut oil.2) Chop the onion. Once the sweet potato has cooked a bit, add the onion and stir.3) Meanwhile, cook as many frozen vegetables as you like.4) Chop up the chicken sausages and add to the skillet. Heat until warm all the way through.5) Add vegetables, garlic, herbs and seasonings. Stir well.6) Serve as is or over rice.
