Warm Weather, Family Time, Food, Fitness, And Finding Happiness

Hello, all!! We had such a wonderful weekend. Between beautiful weather, family time, and spring cleaning, I really couldn’t have asked for more.

Even though things are crazy right now, I have found that my family brings me so much happiness, and time spent with them takes my anxiety away. Despite my husband and sister-in-law still working, we are taking every precaution necessary, and I know this won’t last forever. Until then, I will enjoy every moment together, and soak in sweet baby cuddles as much as I can.

Let’s take a look at our wonderful weekend…

SATURDAY:

The weather was STUNNING and we spent most of the day outside. During baby K’s first nap, I got in a loop band workout with a short jog outside. When she got up, my husband brought her out to finish my workout with me (aka squats with her on my shoulders).

Next up, we took a long family walk and the baby loved taking in her surroundings. She waved to the water when my husband showed it to her.

After lunch and baby’s second nap, I put her in a swimsuit and sunscreen so that she could play in her baby pool. She had fun splashing around. She enjoyed another walk, and watching daddy play with his remote control car haha.

Later, after she had dinner, my husband made a fire in the fire pit and baby got to enjoy it before a bath and bed. She is so adorable, I can’t handle it sometimes.

My husband made us a delicious dinner!!

After dinner, we made banana boats and s’mores by the fire. Oh my gosh, the banana boats were amazing!! I stuffed mine with almond butter, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and coconut. I put it over the fire until it melted then scooped it onto graham crackers.

We sat by the fire for hours just talking and enjoying each other’s company. A lot of people were having fires in their backyards, and it felt like life was normal for a little while.

We crashed hard that night!

SUNDAY:

I made baby K healthy pancakes and fruit. She devoured it!

We spent all of her nap times organizing and spring cleaning. It felt SO good!
