Family Time, Fitness, And Breakfast Dates

Hello, all!! Another Monday came to quickly, but lucky for baby and I, my mom came to visit! Yay!!

This weekend was relaxing, as we stayed home and got some things done around the house. I felt exhausted for some reason, and my husband was having some stomach pain, so our bedtime was early Saturday and Sunday night. We snuck in some family time and it was so lovely!

Here is the recap…


The day started with coffee and a family walk. Our weather was cool and it felt SO good.

The baby loved looking at the trees and feeling the wind.

At the end of our walk, a car pulled up and a woman was looking for her 3 little girls and a dog. She was so scared and it broke my heart. I took off running to look, while my husband and the baby went another way. The mom ended up finding them, but was so thankful for our help! I pictured that being my baby and felt it deep in my gut.

Once we got back inside, I put the baby down for a nap, then headed to the gym for an upper body workout class.

I absolutely love this class!

The rest of the day was spent cleaning, playing with baby, and a few more stroller walks!

Once the baby went down, we ate some dinner and watched Netflix until bed.


I was craving Northstar, so my husband, baby and I went out for a breakfast date. We walked around our outdoor mall for a bit first and worked up an appetite.

For breakfast, I had the ham and cheese scone, along with the “shooting star” juice. My husband had biscuits and gravy, plus a blueberry bake.

The sun was coming through the windows, that’s why the pictures aren’t the best! It was delicious and hit the spot!!

When we got home, I did some laundry, went to the grocery store, and walked the baby!

Once she went down for bed, I made the easiest dinner possible.

Turkey hot dog, mac cheese, and peas. Haha!

We watched tv until bed.

  1. Aw, family walks are such a nice way to spend quality time with loved ones. Being outside excersizing with your bestests is the nicest! So heartbreaking and scary for that Mom and the kids but thank goodness they were all found okay, I’d have been in tears. A few weeks ago I was at work and this boy came over crying saying he’d lost his mum, it brought me to tears (obvs after he’d found his Mum of course, I wasn’t about to cry in front of him because that would have made it 10x worse for the kid! Adults are supposed to be superhero’s!!!), like you, I imagined my nephew in that situation and it just broke my heart omg. Thank goodness there was a happy ending for all!
    And that Shooting Star juice sounds amazing 😍😍😍 I wanna drink that! Thanks for sharing, have a great week hun!

  2. This is sooo cute! Also that giraffe is pretty cool, that must have taken some time to whoever made that haha! I also love reading the food you eat and fitness you do! I am just about to do some abs and a run 😂 x
