Hi, all! I swear, it gets harder to write these days, as my sweet baby keeps me super busy. I meant to post yesterday, but time got away from me. My sister-in-law moved into our house for the summer. She has an internship in our city and is staying with us until August.
Anyway, let’s recap the weekend…
FRIDAY:
My work bestie and I left early since it was our very last day, and we were done with everything. We celebrated with wine at Coopershawk winery. I had a glass of Rhubarb wine and chicken potstickers. It was delicious!
When I got home, I played with the baby until she went down for bed.
Dinner was some leftovers.
I watched Big Little Lies while I ate.
SATURDAY:
The day started early, so I had coffee and watched a show. I went out for a 3 mile run before the family woke up! The weather was perfect and it felt so good!
Later, my best friend came into town and my hubs hung with the baby while I spent time with her. We had Starbucks, did some shopping, and got brunch at Northstar cafe.
When I got home, I cleaned and hung out with my family. Dinner was a rotisserie chicken sandwich and a white sweet potato.
We watched a movie before bed.
SUNDAY:
I woke up, had some coffee, and played with the baby. I love reading to her. She is growing so fast and I am soaking up every minute!
For lunch, I made a healthier tuna noodle casserole in my Pampered Chef Rock Crock. It was so tasty!
After lunch and some cleaning, my sister and mother-in-law came over. They got all of my sister-in-law’s stuff moved in and we grilled out burgers after getting the baby to bed. YUM.
We watched a little TV, but I went to bed before everyone else.
That’s all for this update! I’m looking forward to catching up on all of your posts.
Have a great week!
With love,
Carly
Food looks great! Good job. Do you drink any protein shakes or just eating regular foods?

I love protein shakes, but as a snack and not a meal! My gym has a cafe so I usually grab after lifting!

Excellent. I’ve been consuming protein shakes for a long time. Good stuff.

Rhubarb wine sounds sooo lovely! Since Big Little Lies is coming out with a season two I am thinking about rewatching season one since I initially watched it so long ago. Such a tremendous show!
As always, these meals look soo yummy.
Thanks for sharing, Carly!
