Fit Friday-This Week In Food And Fitness, Plus Our Upcoming Vacation

Hello and happy Friday, everyone! Did you have a good week? Do you have any fun weekend plans? As soon as I finish this post, my husband and I are packing up the car and heading to Gun Lake in Michigan for vacation with his family! Whooo! We will be there until next Saturday and I am looking forward to spending time with everyone.

Anyway, let’s recap this week!

MONDAY:

The day started with coffee and teaching some online classes. After teaching, I spent the day cleaning and getting things done around the house.

Lunch was a vegetable empanada from Whole Foods, nut things, a cheese stick, and cherries.

That evening, I went to a class at my gym called shred. It is a full body workout with free weights. It was fun!

After the gym and a shower, I made antipasto squares and a salad for dinner.

We watched the Bachelorette before bed.

TUESDAY:

I woke up and taught before heading to a dr. appointment. After the appointment, I drove to my home town to meet my best friend’s brand new twin girls!! I brought her lunch and loved on those sweet babies! It was so fun!!

When I left it was pouring, but luckily I didn’t hit much traffic. I went straight to the gym and did a workout on the arc trainer.

My husband worked late so I ate dinner alone before picking him up (late) from the shop.

I had another empanada with pesto quinoa.

WEDNESDAY:

The day started with coffee and teaching. I went to a barre class at my gym before spending the day with my mom!

We went to lunch at a vegan restaurant called Portia’s Cafe. It was delicious!! I had lentil soup and a Mediterranean wrap.

For dessert, I had a blondie macaroon. Yum!

My mom and I took my husband lunch before doing some shopping.

Dinner was turkey burgers and corn on the cob.

THURSDAY:

I woke up, had coffee and taught a few online classes. I made some protein pancakes for breakfast.

Later, I did a short jog outside, but I was pretty tired so I took a nap afterwards.

I went to Target for some last minute vacation items before coming home and picking up.

For lunch, I had a leftover turkey burger bean chips and a pickle.

That evening, my husband and I went to see the new Jurassic World movie so dinner was quick at home.

After the movie, we both crashed.

FRIDAY:

This morning, I woke up and had some coffee before heading to the gym for a barbell strength class.

Now it is time to get ready for vacation!
