Hello, all! How has your weekend been?! Mine has been productive, even though I haven’t been feeling the best. I’m feel a tad overwhelmed, making me run around like a chicken with my head cut off.
Here’s what I got up to this weekend:
After work I came home, prepped my teaching materials for my new online teaching job, then relaxed a little before my husband got home.
For dinner, I made a taco salad from the leftovers in my fridge. Yum!
I fell asleep early, knowing that I had to be up early to teach!
I woke up before my alarm with a stomachache. I was so nervous to teach 3 classes in a row. The job is wonderful, it just takes me a while to get completely comfortable, and I’m not there yet.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m teaching online to students in China. They are so fun and smart!
Anyway, I had some coffee, then taught my classes. They went well, but I was relieved when they were done! I was so excited to receive positive parent feedback! 5 apples is the best you can get!
After teaching, I went for an easy jog to calm down, and it was fun exploring my neighborhood.
The rest of the day was spent deep cleaning the house, which seemed to take forever! I sure do love a clean home.
That evening, my husband and I decided to get an early dinner and drinks at Roosters. It was fun to relax and talk!
After dinner, we came home and I fell asleep at 7 on the couch. I was exhausted!!
I woke up early and taught two classes. The kids were sweet, and yet again, it went well! Next, I spent a few hours at the library getting together teaching materials.
When I got home, I organized my area and prepped my teaching props for the week ahead while my husband did yard work.
I decided to take a brake and go to yoga, and boy did it feel good!!
When I got home, I folded laundry while my husband made dinner.
Grilled chicken and corn on the cob! So good!!
Now we are relaxing until Fear The Walking Dead comes on!
