Happy Friday, all! Have you had a good week? Any fun weekend plans? We are expecting an ice/snow storm throughout the night. I’m luckily home from work and won’t be going out again tonight.
Anyway, my week has been full of tasty (healthy) food and some good workouts. Here is my recap!
School was cancelled due to ice so I got an extra day of winter break. I was probably more excited than the kids! I tried a new workout class called strike. It was a lot of shoulder work and I was sore the next day.
I met my husband at Chipotle for lunch and I got a super tasty bowl!
For dinner, we made chicken and teriyaki veggies.
My mamma’s birthday!! Here is a picture of us from my wedding. She’s the best!
After work, my husband and I took my mom to the dinner movie theater. We saw Pitch Perfect 3 for her birthday. It was so funny and dinner was delicious. I had a grilled chicken quinoa bowl.
After dinner and the movie, we came back to our house and watched This Is Us. If you don’t watch it I would highly recommend it!
My morning started with an early TCX (total conditioning extreme) class.
Such a good mix of weights and cardio.
Dinner was my healthy pizza (made with Kodiak Cakes Pancake Mix and plain greek yogurt) and a salad!
Half of my pizza had pizza sauce and half had pesto. I topped it with mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni.
After work I did a 3 mile treadmill workout. I have a harder time when I workout later in the day, but I pushed through and was happy with it!
Dinner was whole wheat pasta with chicken sausage, cheese, and an english muffin. I was starving and devoured it!
I started this morning with a workout class called gluteus maxout. It is fun and challenging working legs and booty for 45 minutes!
