Hello and happy Friday! We made it!! My weekend is busy. My husband’s cousin is in a band, so we are going to their concert tonight. Tomorrow will be filled with cleaning, house work, and hopefully some fun. On Sunday, my mom and I are throwing a duck themed baby shower for my sister in law.
Yesterday after work I was SO tired. I forced myself to go to the gym, but my motivation was lacking. I got on the treadmill and came up with a new workout on the spot. It was kind of tough to get through, but it felt great once I finished. Here is is:
30 Minute Treadmill Workout
*Start with a warmup (5 to 10 minutes). I included this in my workout by starting with a jog and working up to my run
- Do 1 mile as a build (I increased my pace every minute)
- Do 2 minutes at a steady pace, 1 minute walk, 1 minute sprint, 1 minute walk
- Repeat step 2 for a total of 4 times (that will be 20 minutes)
Warm down.
This workout took me right around 30 minutes and I did about 3 miles.

After my workout, I stopped by Trader Joe’s to pick up something easy for dinner.
A pre made salad (which I added peas to), toast, and butternut squash. Sooooo good!!
