Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you all have had a great weekend. I sure have, well, minus waking up in bad pain this morning (I’ll get there).
I started the morning with an instant oatmeal. I added trail mix, cocoa nibs, and a few graham crackers to it which made it extra tasty!
Perfect for a chilly morning.
Mid-day my husband and I picked my nephew up and he came over for the night. We had a blast!
We went to see IT. We all enjoyed it a lot! I love scary movies, and this did not disappoint!! After the movie we went to Dave and Busters for some games.
So. Much. Fun.
By the time we got home we were starving! We grilled out and watched football. During half time we made a fire and had s’mores.
I made a healthier s’more by using fat free honey graham crackers, 85 percent dark chocolate, almond butter, and 1/4 a banana over the fire instead of marshmallows.
For the bananas, I wrapped them in foil and put them over the fire until heated.
By the time the game was over, I was exhausted. I slept hard!
I woke up with terrible back pain and I barely made it to the couch. I woke my hubsand up and I was in tears. He helped me get settled before getting me Starbucks and pumpkin spice english muffins! It was so sweet of him! He also filled my car with gas. I could brag on him all day.
The rest of the morning was spent heating and icing my back. I’m feeling better, but it still hurts.
For lunch, I made a protein smoothie and had healthy cheesecake dip with strawberries and graham crackers.
